Product Warranties:

  • Please enjoy a one year warranty on all of our products!
  • For any manufacturing defects within this timeframe, repairs are on us (our apologies!). We invite you to contact customer service at customercare.calila@gmail.com. Please include:
    • The order number.
    • Photos of the item clearly showing the problem
    • A copy of the proof of purchase (original receipt, pack slip, or credit card statement)

 

Return Credit:

  • You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 30 days of our receiving your returned product. Your refund will include the cost of the item, plus any applicable sales tax.
  • Shipping and handling costs are non-refundable unless the return is a result of a manufacturer error or a shipping error on our part.

Calila Designs L.A. is extremely proud of our materials and manufacturing process. Please see the following materials for care instructions.

Leather

All of our leather comes from American dairy cows, sourced and tanned in California. Should the leather on your product become dirty, please wipe down with a damp cloth without the use of soap or cleaners. Let the leather dry slowly at room temperature and out of sunlight. Mild leather cream can also be used if desired. Please keep leather away from abrasives and direct sunlight, and store in a cool, dry place.

Canvas

All of our duck cotton canvas is milled in America. Please take note that our canvas is dyed and should not be submerged in water. Instead, to clean, lightly brush off any dirt with a brush. Start with plain water for cleaning, and gradually move to a mild soap if needed. Always test a small area first, and remember, less is more. Let the canvas dry slowly at room temperature and out of sunlight.

We will keep you updated about the status of your order via email. Additionally, you will receive a tracking number to follow your shipping as your item makes its way to you.

What types of shipping do you offer?

At the moment, Calila Designs only offers standard domestic shipping (FREE!) and standard international shipping.

Am I able to make changes to or cancel an order after I've placed it?

We'd be glad to help you with any issues you may have with your order, including canceling it, up to the point your order has shipped.

An item I ordered is on pre-order. When will I receive it?

All of our products are hand made in the Fashion District of Downtown Los Angeles. When a new design is launch, we may offer it on pre-order. We try our best to accurately estimate a time frame for the products to be complete, but as we know, life can always present new and unexpected challenges.

We will alert you the moment we receive your item in hand and it is available to ship. Additionally, we will alert you if the date we have estimated for completion has passed to give you additional information as to a new time frame.

If the date originally listed for production has passed and you would no longer like to wait for the completion of your item, we would be glad to offer you a full refund on the purchase.

 

Am I able to see your products in person?

Currently, Calila Designs L.A. is online-only. In the coming year, we hope to be able to expand to retail locations that fit our core values and brand trust.

When this occurs, will list all of our locations online.

Our eventual goal is to open a retail location in Downtown Los Angeles that serves the needs of the community and provides support, classes, gatherings, and spirit to our home. Each purchase helps us get closer to that goal!
